New Russian ‘La Datcha’ Yacht Launched & Available for Charter

First announced in 2015, the highly anticipated SeaXplorer expedition yacht La Datcha was finally unveiled in the beginning of July. The stunning superyacht won’t be delivered to her Russian billionaire yacht owner, banking mogul Oleg Tinkov, until the end of the summer. However, Damen Yachting officially launched the luxury vessel and will be displaying the La Datcha yacht in its private viewing event in the Netherlands, scheduled for September.

A One-Of-A-Kind SeaXplorer Expedition Yacht

La Datcha is a customized 252-foot SeaXplorer expedition yacht designed to be used as a surfing, diving, and heliskiing platform. The Russian superyacht features a six-decked exterior designed by Azure Naval Architects and naval architecture completed by Damen Yachting’s inhouse design team. La Datacha’s six staterooms including two VIP suites and an owner’s apartment accommodates 12 guests. Its crew quarters accommodate 25 crew members.

This $102.9 million expedition yacht features a helideck and hangar, two helicopters, two tender garages, a skylounge, observation deck, elevator, sauna and spa, dive center, and numerous yacht toys including jet skis, snow scooters, and a Triton 1650 submarine! Its creamy brown hull makes it easily recognizable, while its capability to carry enough provisions and fuel for 40 days at sea without refueling makes it the perfect yacht for those looking for a real adventure.

La Datcha Yacht Charter Cost & Details

“For me, it’s boring to buy another white boat, to sit on the sundeck and drink champagne. There is so much more to the world than the Med or the British Virgin Islands. This is just five per cent of the world’s coastline and . . . I’m eager to explore the rest.” – Oleg Tinkov1

Despite its final delivery scheduled for September, Russian billionaire yacht owner Oleg Tinkov has already announced an ambitious global charter itinerary. The superyacht’s charter schedule avoided popular yachting destinations in favor of more surprising, yet beautiful locales. Stops include Russia’s Kuril Islands and Kamchatka Peninsula where guests can go heli-skiing. Once delivered and available to charter guests, the La Datcha yacht can be chartered for $850,000 a week!
